Tonight marks the last broadcast of The David Letterman Show so to honor the funny man our Sandwich Special today is The David Letterman-  It is Grilled Roast Beef and Swiss Cheese with caramelized onions, roasted red peppers and garlic herbed mayo.  $8.00

I was lucky enough to see him at the Ed Sullivan theater many years ago when I was working in NYC.  It was in the winter and New York got hit with a big snowstorm.  As a result many of the ticket holders couldn’t get into town to see the show so there were a lot of seats available for “walk-ins”  So I took off work early that day and walked over to the studio and waited in line for about 40 minutes or so in hope of getting in,  And I did!  Regrettably the guest that day was lame but it was still fun to see the show live!   Thanks for the laughs Dave!

Yesterday was the opening day of the outdoor Norwich Farmers’ Market!  We had wonderful weather which will hopefully prove to be auspicious in the weeks to come.  This season will mark our 15th year vending at the market!
