Umpleby's Bakery & Café

One of my staff showed me today an article  by May Mansour that appeared in yesterday’s Dartbeat, the blog column of the Dartmouth Newspaper.  The author went to some local coffee shops in search of the best version of a seasonal favorite drink: The Pumpkin Spice Latte.  If you read the article you will see that we have the distinct honor of being named as the best makers of it!   It wouldn’t have been possible without the fantastic staff that I am honored to have work with me as well as the great Coffee Roasters we get our beans from:  Java Tree Roasters from Manchester, NH.  And thank you Dylan for making May the PSL that knocked her socks off!    And finally, I have to laugh at what was written on the napkin at May’s table!  Thank you May!

The thermometer is slowly dropping which means soup is returning to the cafe!  This friday will be our official start to the soup season!   The flavor will probably be butternut squash.  Welcome Autumn!
