Where has the time gone?  In only a matter of a few weeks it will be Commencement Day for the Dartmouth Class of 2014.   Our dance card for special orders for that weekend is rapidly filling up so if you are interested in ordering from us the time is now!

Things to think about ordering –  sandwich platters for after commencement,  graduation cakes, cookie platters for your friends and relatives.  You are all going to be very hungry after the ceremony!  I promise!  If you have any questions about what we offer please give us a call!  We love answering questions!   We love taking special orders!

Next Saturday, May 3rd is opening day for the outdoor Norwich Farmers’ Market!  This will be our 14th season participating.  WOW!  Where has the time gone!?   Our daughter Marion is just about old enough to start running our stand by herself.   I’m looking forward to becoming redundant for a Saturday morning or two and let her run the show!

Easter is rather late this year but it still feels early to me.  Maybe because it snowed last night I’m still thinking Mardi Gras was just last week.  But is wasn’t.   So,  I have to mention that you all have to get your Easter orders in for Saturday as we will be closed Easter Sunday.    Things to choose from:

• Lemon tarts
• Hot Cross Buns
• Sugar Cookies
• pies like apple or blueberry or lemon meringue
• Fruit tarts
• Cookies of all flavors
• Bread in either loaf form or rolls
• I’ll be making doughnuts Saturday morning!
• and the cases will have all sorts of goodies for your Easter dinner / dessert
