If I was asked that question I think the shortest answer to that would be to quote Socrates when he said “the unexamined life is not worth living”

I opened a bakery to try  and understand life.

As you all probably know today is the first day of Spring.  Welcome Spring!   Yes, today I think I will go out and roto-till the garden bed and plant some garlic bulbs.  And then I will go check on the daffodils.   After you have all checked on your gardens and daffodils come by for some hot chocolate or lunch or dessert or breakfast pastry.

We’ve had some inquiries already about whether we are going to be baking Hot Cross Buns this year.  And the answer is yes!   We’ll probably start having them a couple weeks before Easter if all goes well.  We’ll keep you posted!
