Today is the Winter Solstice – the day with the least amount of hours of sunlight in the year.  It is also a great day to place your Christmas Holiday orders with us before time runs out!

And starting tomorrow we will have German Stollens!! Yeah!

Once you get shoveled out of your driveway and have the urge to leave the house come on by to downtown Hanover and give us a visit.  We are open, the pastries are fresh out of the oven and we make a really good hot chocolate!

On NPR yesterday there is a cool article on the science and chemistry behind making the perfect cookie.   All that chemistry and science knowledge comes in handy when making the best Holiday cookies in the Upper Valley.   If you don’t believe me stop by for an Orange Kiss, Chocolate Chipper or Hazelnut Linzer.  You’ll wish the holidays came more often.  Now if you will excuse me, back to the lab……..
