So you drank your shots of whiskey, begged for some beads, ate some sublime doughnuts, listened to some Zydeco music, and passed out watching All Creatures Great and Small on Netflix in front of the computer.  Okay, enough about me, let’s talk about Valentine’s day!  :)

The cupids of love have nothing on what we are doing here at Umpleby’s!

There are chocolate covered strawberries, chocolate soufflé cakes (flour-less of course), heart shaped sugar cookies, truffles, chocolate stuff, and other chocolate stuff and some other delicious baked goods for your Valentine here at Umpleby’s!

Happy Happy Mardi Gras!

In honor of Fat Tuesday we have quite a fatteningly delicious sandwich called La Petite Mort:   Roast Beef, Bacon, Cheddar, Caramelized Onions and Herbed Mayo.  And we grill it!

We have a tradition here at Umpleby’s every Mardi Gras and that’s Doughnuts! What better way to steel yourself for the 40 days of Lent than doughnuts.   We’ll have the usual glazed and cinnamon crullers with the addition of bavarian creams, chocolate glazed with mardi gras colors and maybe some other surprises as well.
