Umpleby's Bakery & Café

The cool weather is coming so we sadly say goodbye to ice drinks and say hello to soup!

At Umpleby’s ice drinks and soups can’t co-exist.  Other examples of this would be Harry Potter and Voldemort,  or Superman and Clark Kent or, when he was alive, Michael and Janet Jackson.

The first flavors we will be having are organic Broccoli from Your Farm in Fairlee, VT and Butternut Squash.  Both will be vegetarian.  I will try to post the daily soup flavors here on the web but please forgive me if I miss some days.

My summer baking staff have gone back to school so I am really looking for help in the Bakehouse.  If you have commercial baking experience or have been to pastry/ baking school and are looking for an entry level job please let me know.   Come by the Bakery/Cafe or email me for an interview.   If neither apply to you but you really, and I mean really, love baking this might be the job for you.  I will take the time to train the right person.
