That’s right!  The first Saturday in May (May 7th)  is around the corner.

This will be our 10th season selling at the Norwich Farmers Market!   Norwich Farmers Market

From 9am to 1pm we will be there every Saturday selling our baked goods, sourdough breads and meat pies.

The Upper Valley Homebrew Club met last night here at Umpleby’s for our monthly meeting and we had the good fortune to have Patrick Dakin as  our guest speaker.  Patrick is the former brewer at The Norwich Inn and is now in the process of opening a brewpub in S. Royalton, VT.   He spoke to us about the interesting way that he is raising capital for the project.  Similar to CSA shares he is selling CSB shares.   I recommend you check out his website where he explains in further detail how it works.   Freight House Brewing

We wish everyone a pleasant upcoming weekend.  We will be open our usual hours on Saturday, April 23rd and the case will have lots of desserts and other delicious items for your Sunday meal.
