Umpleby's Bakery & Café

While we’re not French a lot of the pastries and desserts we sell are certainly French influenced.  Drop by and have a taste of France and celebrate the storming of the Bastille and commemorate the 1790 Fête de la Fédération.

We have the taste of summer here at Umpleby’s –  peaches!   We will be making peach turnovers, peach crumb pies, peach tarts and peach fruit tarts this week and going forward!  Eat a peach and think of Duane.

By the way, here is a culinary secret you might not know about –  fresh peaches go really, really well with fresh basil!

To give the staff an opportunity to enjoy our Nation’s birthday we will be closed the 4th of July.   So please come by on wednesday for all your picnic / party / BBQ / grilling needs.  We’ll have bread, fruit pies and desserts in the cases wednesday.
