Umpleby's Bakery & Café

Here are a couple pictures of the area around where I live.  The picture with the truck is the road I took coming home Sunday afternoon. just about 20 minutes before this truck tried to drive through and you can see what happened.  The other picture is the Long Trail Brewery about 2 miles from where I live.  Where you see the water is where the parking lot is supposed to be. Click on the pics to enlarge them.  I’ll post a pic soon of the Bridgewater Mill where we used to have the Bakery before moving to Hanover. You won’t believe what you see.

My family and I live in Bridgewater so I wasn’t able to get to Hanover yesterday as all the roads leading in and out of the town were washed out.   We made our getaway early this morning  on Rt. 4 before the local officials could stop us.    We’ll see what happens when we return home this afternoon.

But importantly – we are open and back in business today!!!

Because of the storm we have decided to close today at around noon.   The sandwich station will be open today from 11am until then so if you want to pick up a sandwich to eat later when the power goes out come on by before then.
