Day 1:  The Orange Kiss.   A very popular orange shortbread style sandwich cookie here at the cafe.  I picked up this recipe while working in Melbourne, Australia.  They are a lot like potato chips in that it is really hard to just eat one!

Ready to start the holiday festivities? Then please join us in downtown Hanover to Celebrate the Season this Friday, December 2nd, from 4-8pm!  We’ll be hosting free sugar cookie decorating for the whole evening, so please stop by!  You can also look forward to extended store hours and discounts throughout Hanover, as well as lots of fun activities like wagon rides, caroling and the Christmas Tree lighting.  For more information, check out the Hanover Chamber of Commerce website and schedule of events.

Starting Thursday, December 1, we will be featuring a different Christmas cookie each day until Christmas Eve.   We will offer a description of the cookie, sometimes the recipe, and why we think it is a great cookie to have for the Holidays.  And of course the cookie will be for sale in our Christmas Cookie Case. Some of the cookies to be featured  are regulars here at the Bakery but there will be many new as well as returning old favorites.
